The Brazilian duo 1 + 1 formed in the early 1990s with Jorge de Altinho on guitar and José Renato handling vocals. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1994, followed by "Tudo o Que Sou" in 1996.
In 1998 they released the album "Eu e Mais Ninguém," whose title track became their most recognizable song. They put out two more albums, "Amor em Dose Dupla" in 2000 and "De 1 + 1 Para Você" in 2002.
