10 Code started in Los Angeles in the early 2010s with Mike Meeker on vocals and guitar, Dustin Lanker on drums, and Joey Armstrong on bass. Their first album, Code of Conduct, came out in 2012. The band's sound mixed alternative rock with some electronic touches.
In 2014 they released Be Nothing, which included the song of the same name. Around that time, there were some accusations about their sound being too similar to other bands, and not long after, Lanker and Armstrong left. Meeker kept the name going with new members John Scaccia and Matt Cohen, putting out Reset in 2017 and another album in 2020.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
