10 Grand was a New York City rock band that formed around 2010. Their song 'Up, Up And Down' came out in 2011 and got some radio play. The band had four members: Alex Carapetis, George Josif, Chris Masiak, and James Bagley.
They put out a self-titled debut album in 2012, followed by 'Stay Happy' and then 'The Modern Age' in 2017. Their sound mixed alternative rock with some pop and punk elements, and later records added touches of electronica and hip-hop.
There were some controversies around the band, including legal issues and public criticism, but they kept making music through it. They never became a household name, but 'Up, Up And Down' remains their most recognizable track.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
