10ª Ordem formed in 1984 in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, started by Rod Hanna and Clemente Tadeu. They put out albums like '10ª Ordem' in 1985 and 'A Raiz É Uma Só' in 1994. Their song 'Cannavial' came out in 1999 and became a kind of anthem for Brazilian reggae.
Their music often dealt with social themes, which sometimes drew criticism. The band included musicians like Júnior Dread on bass and Andrezinho on drums. They also recorded another track called 'João Qualquer'.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
