100 Grillos formed in Bogotá, Colombia, around vocalist Juan Diego Calle and guitarist Juan Pablo Valencia. Their debut album came out in 2013, followed by a second album in 2015 that shared its name with the song "Adolescente." That track became a hit for them, along with songs like "China Chaos" and "Little Tears."
Their third album, "Rojo," drew criticism from some conservative groups in Colombia for its lyrics. The band's lineup also included bassist Alejandro Perez and drummer Dario Robayo.
They've toured in Colombia and other parts of Latin America. Their music mixes rock and pop with Colombian rhythms.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
