100 Monkeys formed in San Francisco in 1986, with John Felice on vocals, Steve Lucas on guitar, Dave Kaplan on bass, and Ben Dula on drums. They put out their first album, 'Columbia,' in 1989. Their second album, 'Tomorrow by Surprise,' came out in 1991 and included the song 'Keep Awake.'
They released a few more albums in the 1990s, like 'House of Shame' in 1993 and 'Belle Isle' in 1996. After some time off in the early 2000s, they got back together around 2014 and put out 'Liquid Courage' in 2018 and 'Reviver' in 2021.
Some of their other songs include 'The Monkey Song,' '38 Special,' and 'Arizona.'
