1000 Clowns formed in Los Angeles in the early 2000s with Jon Martin on vocals and guitar, Dave French on bass, and Chris Dale on drums. They put out their self-titled debut album in 2003, which included the track "Can We Talk." That song got some attention and helped them find an audience.
They followed up with two more albums, "Stardust and Water" in 2005 and "When We Were Kings" in 2008. Their other songs include "Greatest Rapper" and "Kitty Kat Max." The band eventually dissolved, but those three records are what they left behind.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
