1000 Travels of Jawaharlal formed in Mumbai with Prashant Yadav on vocals and rhythm guitar, Anup Kutty on lead guitar, Shashi Ranjan on bass, and Suraj Mani on drums. Their debut album Anyway came out in 2010, followed by Safar in 2013, Saat Samandar Paar in 2016, and Dil Ki Baat in 2019.
Their songs like "Anyway," "Dear You," and "The end never comes" mix folk and rock with Indian classical elements. The lyrics are in Hindi and sometimes touch on social themes.
In 2017 the band broke up briefly but got back together. They've kept playing since then.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
