A Greek band that's been making uncompromising heavy rock since 2006.
For a good sense of their sound, try 'Vultures' or 'Electric Carve.' They're both heavy, driving tracks that show what the band does well.
They've carved out a space in progressive rock that doesn't bend to trends, which you can hear in tracks like 'Vultures' and 'Electric Carve.' Their 2014 album Super Van Vacation established their sound, and they've kept refining it through records like Youth of Dissent and Eclectric. The legal dispute with their former label in 2016 didn't slow them down, just kept them working on their own terms.
Formed in Athens in 2006, the band released Super Van Vacation in 2014 and has put out albums every few years since. The lineup has stayed consistent with Danny Vranas on vocals and guitar, George Papavranidis on guitar and vocals, Babis Alexiadis on bass, and Antonis Andreou on drums. They've kept at their progressive rock sound through all of it, even when some listeners found their experimental approach challenging.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
