101 Boulevard formed in Curitiba, Brazil in 2003, with Tiago Brunet on vocals and guitar, Rodrigo Tavares on bass, Leonardo Gonçalves on keyboards, and Rafael Ramos on drums. Their first album came out in 2006, featuring the song 'Autor da Minha Vida (Poderoso Deus)' which became widely known in Brazilian Christian music circles.
Keyboardist Leonardo Gonçalves left in 2013 to work on solo projects, and Alana Cardwell joined on keyboards around that time. The group has put out several albums since their debut, including 'Um Novo Começo' in 2009 and 'O Som da Fé' in 2021. Other songs like 'Deus e Eu' and 'És Real' appear in their catalog.
They've maintained a lineup of Brunet, Tavares, Ramos, and Cardwell for years now, continuing to record and perform. Their music generally deals with themes of faith and personal reflection, delivered in a straightforward pop-rock style familiar to listeners of contemporary Brazilian Christian music.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
