10sion formed in Philadelphia in the early 1970s, with Gene McFadden and John Whitehead handling vocals and songwriting. Their debut album in 1973 included 'Let's Get It On,' which became their best-known track. By the late 1970s, they had shifted toward disco, releasing the album 'The Heat Is On' in 1979.
They put out a handful of albums through the decade, like 'Stone Gon'' in 1974 and 'When You Need a Lift' in 1976. The band's sound moved from funk and soul into the dancefloor grooves of the disco era.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
