11 formed in Los Angeles in 1997 with Justin Pearson on vocals, Roy Moynihan on guitar, and Tim Midyett on drums. Their debut EP, "The Craft," came out the following year. After Midyett left, Trevor Dunn joined as drummer. They put out albums like "Awake in a Dream" in 1999 and "11" in 2000.
Their song "Agitation in the Glorious Theme" became a notable track for them, appearing on a 2004 album of the same name. Other songs in their catalog include "Reckless Beacons Attraction" and "The Full Intrepid Experience of Light."
They kept recording through the 2000s with albums like "American Vendetta" in 2006 and "Countdown to Armageddon" in 2010.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
