12 Rounds came out of Los Angeles in the early 2000s with an alt-rock sound. The band was fronted by vocalist Erik Candiani, and their 2009 single '2 Miles' got some attention for its melodic guitars and emotional delivery. They put out a debut album called 'No End in Sight' around that time.
Other songs like 'Barbed Wire Hair' and 'Hesitate' showed their range within that post-grunge and emo-influenced space. The lineup shifted at one point, with Neil Spies replacing original bassist Drew Lavyne. They kept recording through the 2010s with albums like 'Now or Never' and 'The Way We Are'.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
