1200 Micrograms formed in Paris in 1992 around Mirwais Ahmadzaï, DJ Cam, and Xavier Jamaux.
After the debut, the group's output slowed. Jamaux left in 1996, and Ahmadzaï and DJ Cam continued as a duo. They released 'The Second Chapter' in 2003 and 'The Third Chapter' a decade later in 2013. Their song titles, like 'Mescaline,' 'LSD,' and 'Magic Mushroom,' reflect a consistent interest in psychedelic themes.
Their work has drawn both praise for its adventurous sound and criticism for its drug-related content. They've collaborated with artists including Björk, Massive Attack, and Iggy Pop.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
