12D Out formed in Setúbal, Portugal in 2003 with Bruno Santos on vocals, Nuno Borges on guitar, Pedro Ferreira on bass, and João Sanches on drums. They broke through in 2005 with their debut single "Melhor Amigo," which became a chart-topping hit in Portugal.
Their first album came out in 2006, followed by three more studio records over the next eight years. In 2008, they had a public lawsuit with their record label that threatened to disrupt their momentum, but they signed with a new label and kept going.
They were known for mixing pop with Brazilian rhythms and funk elements. Their last studio album was 2014's "O Que Eu Sou."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
