13 Crows formed in London in the early 2000s with members Raven on vocals, Ethan Blackwood on guitar, Joshua Sinclair on bass, and Sarah Carter on drums. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2004 and included the song "Grateful." They put out several more records, like The Raven's Call in 2007 and Ashes to Ashes in 2011, followed by The Black Lodge in 2015 and Shadow of the Crow in 2019.
Their music drew from goth rock and folk, with an atmospheric quality that found an audience. The band's style and Raven's persona attracted attention, though they also faced some personal difficulties along the way.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
