1/4 de Nós formed in the 1980s in Rio de Janeiro's Lapa district, with founding members Netinho, Edinho Galotti, and Alex.
They released albums like '1/4 de Nós' in 1988, 'O Samba da Inconformação' in 1990, and 'Festa Brasileira' in 1994. One of their best-known tracks is the medley 'Para Que Entre o Rei / Só Quero Ver Você / Uma Coisa', which became a staple in their live sets and recordings.
Other songs like 'Espero Em Ti' and 'Migalhas' also show their blend of Brazilian rhythms with contemporary touches. The band's lineup changed over time, with Netinho on vocals and guitar, Edinho Galotti on bass, and Alex on drums remaining core members, sometimes joined by others like Marcos Suzano on guitar.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
