16 Minutes formed in 2012 when Munir Mohamed and Syahmi Sofian started making music together in Malaysia. Their debut EP 'Edaran' came out in 2014, with the title track becoming a notable song for them. The band's lineup includes Munir on vocals, Syahmi on guitar, Haziq Harun on keyboards, and Putra Rahim on drums.
They've released several albums including 'Altitude' in 2016, a self-titled album in 2019, and 'Lalui' in 2022. Their song 'Taban' appears alongside 'Edaran' among their most recognized tracks. The group has worked with additional musicians like bassist Azrin Othman and percussionist Rusydi Ramli at different points.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
