17 Days formed in Los Angeles around guitarist and vocalist David McGarry, with bassist Sean Zatorsky and drummer Dane Arnold. Their debut album, simply titled '17 Days,' came out in 1999 and featured the track 'Full Color Revelation.' The record had a raw, grungy energy that drew some attention in the alternative rock scene at the time.
The band took a break in the early 2000s, then returned in 2005 with a second album called 'The Great Divide.' They kept recording into the 2010s, putting out albums like 'In Heaven' and 'The Way We Fall.' Songs like 'Il Dolore' and 'Rusted River' show the kind of moody, introspective rock they were known for.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
