1ambel formed in São Paulo with Victor Hugo on vocals, Leo Brandão on guitar, and Rafael Castro on rhythm. Their debut album "Drum and Bass" came out in 2013, mixing pop, rock, and Brazilian rhythms. They followed it with "Onda" in 2015 and "Chega Mais" in 2019.
Leo Brandão left the band in 2017, and they brought in a new guitarist. In 2020, Victor Hugo faced domestic violence allegations, which he denied.
"Pra Ela" became their most recognized song, with Victor Hugo's vocals and a straightforward melody that connected with listeners in Brazil. The track shows their approach to blending styles without overcomplicating things.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
