1XBand formed in Slovenia in 2005 around Luka Basič, Jure Peternel, and Maj Valerij. Their song 'Tih Deževen Dan' became widely known in Slovenia after appearing on their 2006 debut album 'Zdaj.' The band's early material pulled from pop and rock influences, with Basič handling vocals while Peternel played guitar and Valerij played bass.
They released several more albums, including '1XBand' in 2008 and 'Milijonar' in 2011. In 2015 they put out 'Eklektika,' followed by the 2020 EP 'Brez Teže.' The lineup has seen changes over time, though Basič has remained the frontman. They've worked with other artists like Tinkara Kovač and Matt Simons.
