2 A.M. was a South Korean vocal group that formed in Seoul and debuted in 2008 with the single "This Song." The four members were Jo Kwon, Changmin, Seulong, and Jinwoon. Their music included songs like "You Were Mine" and "One Night Alone With You," which were part of their catalog of emotional ballads.
In 2010, Changmin was involved in a drunk driving incident that led to a hiatus for the group. They also received some criticism for their image, which was seen as challenging gender norms in K-Pop at the time. The group disbanded in 2017 after about nine years together.
Their song "You Were Mine" became particularly well-known for its melancholic tone and vocal harmonies. It's one of the tracks that still gets mentioned when people talk about their work.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
