2 Belgen was a Belgian-Turkish duo formed in 1992 by Deniz Arcak and Serhat Hacıpaşalıoğlu. Their sound mixed Turkish melodies with Western rhythms, and they broke through in 1994 with the single 'Crazy,' which became an international hit. Other songs like 'Lena' and 'Queen Of Mine' followed.
Arcak was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2005 and died in 2015. The duo released seven albums between 1994 and 2009, including 'Belgen,' 'İkinci Belgen,' and 'Son Defa.'
They worked with artists like Tarkan, Sezen Aksu, and İbrahim Tatlıses. Hacıpaşalıoğlu continues to perform under the 2 Belgen name.
