2 Brothers On The 4th Floor

2 Brothers on the 4th Floor were a Dutch electronic duo from Amsterdam, active in the 1990s. They were brothers René and Martin Froger, with René handling most of the lead vocals. Their 1994 single 'Dreams (Will Come Alive)' became their breakout track, giving them international reach in dance music circles.

Their sound leaned into uplifting, melodic trance and techno with pop sensibilities. Songs like 'Never Alone' and 'Let Me Be Free' followed a similar template, driving beats paired with soaring, optimistic vocals. They released several albums through the mid-to-late '90s, including 'Dreams' in 1994 and 'Never Alone' in 1996.
