2 Buoni Motivi formed in 2005 around vocalist Nicola Panciera and guitarist Francesco Talignani in Pordenone. Their early years were lean, but things shifted with the 2006 single '1000 Parole,' a ballad that connected with listeners and brought them wider attention.
Their debut album came out in 2007, followed by others like 'L'albero' in 2009 and 'La statua' in 2011. The lineup has stayed fairly steady, with Panciera and Talignani joined by bassist Simone Rozza and drummer Massimo Zampieri. Songs like 'Cinico Tv' and 'Paure' are part of their catalog.
Their lyrics have sometimes touched on personal and social issues, which has sparked occasional debate. They released another album, 'Il Viaggio,' in 2019.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
