Zezé Di Camargo and Luciano Camargo, the brothers who perform as 2 Filhos de Francisco, came from Jataí in the state of Goiás. They signed with Copacabana Records in 1985 and released their debut album, 'Dois Filhos de Francisco,' that same year. The title track, 'No Dia Em Que Eu Saí De Casa,' became a major hit and established their place in Brazilian country music.
Their music, including songs like 'Calix Bento' and 'Como Vai Você,' often dealt with themes of love and family. They released several albums through the 1990s, such as 'Pão de Mel' in 1990 and 'Sonho de Amor' in 1993. The duo continued to record and perform live albums into the 2010s.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
