2 For Good formed in 2004 with Amelia Roy and Ethan Cole. Their debut album 'The Dawn' came out in 2006 and included the song 'You And Me,' which became their most recognizable track. The duo's sound leaned on vocal harmonies and folk-influenced arrangements.
They released several albums over the following decade, including 'Echoes' in 2008, 'The Journey' in 2012, and 'Unbreakable' in 2016. Roy handled most of the songwriting, with Cole contributing vocals and guitar. Their music often explored personal themes through straightforward lyrics.
In 2010, the group took a brief break after Cole was arrested on a marijuana possession charge. They resumed work and continued recording together through the mid-2010s.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
