2.0 was a Brazilian electronic duo formed in the late 1990s by Zeh Pretim and Marcelinho Da Lua, who met at a nightclub in Salvador. They worked together with Pretim on vocals and Da Lua handling production. Their song 'Minha Vida' came out in 2002 and became their most recognizable track.
Beyond 'Minha Vida,' their catalog includes songs like 'Secretária,' '9 De Fevereiro,' and 'Cisma Minha.' They released albums including '2.0' in 2001, 'Afinidade' in 2003, and 'Solar' in 2009.
Some critics questioned their approach early on, but they kept performing and recording. Their music blended electronic production with melodic vocals, finding an audience in Brazil and beyond without fitting neatly into established industry expectations.
