20-V formed in 2009 in Santos, São Paulo, with Juliana Cavalcante and Nanda Rosa on vocals, Rodrigo Cebrian on guitar, and Rafael Lorenzotti on bass. Their sound mixed pop, rock, and electronic elements, which caught on locally before they reached a wider audience.
In 2013, the band released the album "Tudo Aquilo Que Senti," named after its title track. That song became a hit in Brazil, pushing the group to national recognition. They followed it with albums like "De Volta ao Começo" in 2015 and a self-titled record in 2018.
Juliana Cavalcante left the band in 2015, which led to rumors of internal conflict that the remaining members denied. Their lyrics sometimes stirred debate, as with the song "Temporal," which commented on the government's response to a natural disaster. The current lineup includes Nanda Rosa, Rodrigo Cebrian, Rafael Lorenzotti, and drummer Guilherme Cintra.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
