2000won formed in 2013 as an indie rock band from Seoul. They started as a six-piece but eventually settled with four members: Lee Chan-hyuk on vocals and guitar, Son Dong-myung on bass, Kim Woo-joo on drums, and Ryu Jun-yeol on keyboards. Their debut EP 'Moment of Silence' came out in 2014.
In 2017, the band released the single 'Beautiful,' which became their breakout hit.
They've put out several releases since then, including the albums '2000' in 2015, 'Where the Sea Sleeps' in 2019, and 'The Road' in 2021. Lee Chan-hyuk has also worked on songwriting and production outside the band.
