2021 Ratri formed in 2021 with four members: vocalist and guitarist Vanya, bassist Ardi, drummer Raymond, and keyboardist Rahmat. They started playing small gigs and open mics around Indonesia.
Their song 'I Gave You My All' came out that same year and connected with listeners. It led to their debut album 'A Thousand Nights' in 2021, followed by 'Shadows of the Past' in 2022 and 'Unbreakable' in 2023.
They've worked with other Indonesian artists like Tulus and Raisa. Vanya's outspoken approach and the band's style have drawn both support and criticism from some groups.
