25 Hours formed in 2000 with Faraz Anwar on vocals, Umair Jaswal on guitar, Meesha Shafi on vocals and keyboards, and Salman Albert on drums. They released their self-titled debut album in 2004, followed by 'Dheeray Dheeray' in 2007. Their sound mixed traditional Pakistani melodies with rock.
Their song 'Never (Mai Koey)' became a national hit. In 2011, Jaswal left the band. Their later album 'Alif' incorporated electronic dance music elements, which drew some criticism for straying from their earlier sound.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
