26:15 formed in Porto in 2008, started by brothers André and Fernando Costa. They were later joined by Tiago Pereira and Hugo Rebelo. Their debut album was called 'Aqui Há Festa.' The drummer Hugo Rebelo left in 2015 and was replaced by Miguel Ribeiro.
Their music mixes traditional Portuguese sounds like the cavaquinho and accordion with electronic textures. One of their well-known tracks is 'Pra Praia,' which some listeners interpreted as a story about a young woman leaving her country. They've also worked with the Portuguese singer-songwriter Sérgio Godinho.
Other songs include 'Só Penso Nela (Acústico)' and 'Sabor Cereja.' The band has released five albums.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
