28 Days formed in Los Angeles in 2000, with Dave Ruccia on vocals and guitar. Their self-titled debut album came out the following year, and its lead single "Song For Jasmine" became a recognizable track for the band. They put out a few more records over the next decade, including Save Yourself in 2003 and The Future in 2006.
Their music is straightforward alternative rock, with songs like "1988" and "Ball Of Hate" showing a direct, guitar-driven approach. The band's lineup included Matt Fritz on guitar, Sean Hughes on bass, and Brent Flye on drums. They released their last album, West Coast, in 2014.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
