29Graus is a Brazilian rock band from São Paulo. They became widely known with their 2007 single "Palco da Vida," which connected with listeners through its direct lyrics and melody. The song's title translates to "Stage of Life," and it became something of an anthem, appearing in various TV shows and films.
The band was formed by guitarist and vocalist Nelson Lisboa, bassist Eduardo Garcia, and drummer Gui Mamede. After "Palco da Vida," they released their debut album "Pânico Essencial" in 2008. They've put out several albums since, including "Só Pra Constar" in 2010 and "O Tempo Não Para" in 2019.
In 2011, Garcia left the group and was replaced by bassist André Gabeh. The band has continued to perform live in Brazil and elsewhere in Latin America.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
