A Mexican band from the late 1990s that blended dark themes with traditional sounds.
If you want to hear what they were about, start with "Algum Vício" or "Passos no Escuro." Both songs have that goth-meets-banda thing they did so well.
They took banda sinaloense and ran it through a goth filter when nobody else was doing that. Songs like "Algum Vício" and "Sem Pudor" dealt with provocative subjects that felt out of step with mainstream Mexican music at the time. Their 2008 album 'La Muerte Chiquita' kept that same dark energy going.
They formed in Mexico in the late 1990s with Ulises Lozano on vocals and Diego Herrera on guitar. Their catalog moved through songs like "Possession" and "Ermaline" before arriving at that 2008 album.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
