2D! is a Brazilian pop-rock band that formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2008. The original lineup included Maurício Meirelles on vocals, Lucas Silveira on guitar, Rose on bass, and Claudio Boche on drums. They released their self-titled debut album in 2010.
Their song "Amor que tira o sono" came out in 2013 and became their breakout hit. They've put out three more albums since then: "Sem Medo de Errar" in 2013, "De Volta à Praia" in 2017, and "O Amor É o que Move o Mundo" in 2020.
In 2011, the band faced plagiarism accusations over their song "Praia do Futuro," though those were eventually dismissed. Their music pulls from Brazilian pop acts like Skank and Legião Urbana, along with international influences like Coldplay and U2.
