2M (pronounced "Dois M") is a Brazilian duo from São Paulo formed in 2005 by Henrique Zen and Márcio Mello. They work in a style that mixes sertanejo with pop and rock. Their debut album came out in 2007, followed by "O Som das Multidões" in 2011, which included the song "Lutas e Glórias." That track became a hit but also drew plagiarism accusations in 2015, which the band denied.
Other albums include "A Vida É um Rio" from 2015 and "Nada Além do Sangue" from 2019. Zen handles vocals and songwriting, while Mello plays guitar and arranges the music. Their songs like "Me Curar" and "Tempo Passa" show their range within the sertanejo-pop blend they're known for.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
