2nós formed in Barcelona with Joan Pons on vocals, Climent Sabater on guitar, Jordi Ortega on bass, and Andreu Subirana on drums. Their sound was hard to categorize, which drew some early criticism, but they kept at it. In 2002, they released their second album, Terra, which included the song "Pe(s)cador."
That song became their breakout single. Pons's lyrics on "Pe(s)cador" dealt with longing and solitude, and listeners found different meanings in them. Some saw it as a comment on social pressures, while others just appreciated the poetry. The band put out three albums total: Els meus records in 1999, Terra in 2002, and Les hores in 2006.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
