2Shotz was a Nigerian rap duo formed in the early 2000s by William Onyeabor and Ugochukwu Ozuah, who performed as Williamz and Ugoh. They came from Lagos and worked during a time when Nigerian music was mostly dominated by Afrobeat and R&B, which made rap a harder sell. Their debut album '0001960' came out in 2004, and its lead single 'Make Dem Talk' became a national hit that helped push them into wider recognition.

That song is often mentioned as one of the more influential rap tracks in Nigeria from that period. They followed up with albums like 'Last Generation' in 2006, 'Legacy' in 2009, and 'Trade Mark' in 2010. Williamz was known for a more energetic, charismatic delivery on stage, while Ugoh tended toward introspective lyrics that touched on social issues and personal struggles.
