2Time is a Cuban duo made up of vocalist Jonathan "Yoni" Argüelles and guitarist Junior "JC" Collazo. They started playing together in Havana, performing at local festivals and community events when they could. Their debut album, "A Todo Vapor," came out in 2014 and gave them their first real break.
In 2016, they faced some trouble when their song "Como Te Pongo" was accused of sounding too much like a Colombian reggaeton track. After that, they started mixing more traditional Cuban styles like son and trova into their music, along with some urban rap. They've worked with other Cuban artists like Gente de Zona and El Micha.
Their song "A Todo Vapor" has been used in a couple of the Fast & Furious movies. They also have a track called "Lema em Poema" that shows up in their catalog.
