An early 2000s band whose dark, confrontational songs like 'I Am a Pig' sparked debate.
For the full 2wo experience, start with 'I Am a Pig' and 'Bed Of Rust'. Those songs capture the confrontational energy they built their name on.
2wo's music wasn't background noise. Their debut album 'I Am a Pig' in 2002 announced a sound that combined heavy electronics with raw guitar work, and tracks like 'Bed Of Rust' delivered lyrics that felt intentionally abrasive. They made industrial rock that demanded you pay attention, even when it made you uncomfortable.
The band formed in the early 2000s with Massimo Savioli on vocals, Gianluca Bartolo on guitar, and Ivano Zanotti on drums. They released albums steadily through 2006's 'The Pig is Dead', then returned with later records like 'Reborn' in 2010 before ending around 2014.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
