3-11 Porter formed in Mexico City in the late 1990s with Fernando de la Garza on vocals and guitar, Victor Indrizzo on guitar, Juan Son on bass, and Diego Ritter on drums. Their sound mixed rock and electronica with Mexican folk elements, which gave them a distinct presence from the start.
In 2003, the band had a breakthrough with the single "Surround Me With Your Love," which gained international attention. They followed it with albums like "Esperanza" in 2005 and "La Historia del Mundo" in 2007, continuing to explore different genres while keeping their cultural roots. Songs like "Neon Lights" and "Coffee Boredom And Cigarettes" showed their range from energetic tracks to more reflective material.
Diego Ritter left the band in 2010, and 3-11 Porter continued as a trio. They released "All of Us" that same year and "Las Batallas" in 2016.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
