3 Quartos Não É Meio formed in São Paulo around 2005 with Marcos Ruffato on vocals and guitar, Luiza Meirelles on bass, and Edgard Scandurra on guitar. They put out their self-titled debut album in 2007, which included the track "Chinatown." A second album, "O Tempo," followed in 2011.
Their music had a certain atmospheric quality, with songs like "Chinatown" and "Perdidos No Sudeste Asiático" leaning into moody, reflective territory. The band was active for about eight years before disbanding in 2013.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
