3 Ways is an R&B trio with members J. D'ark on vocals, Cornell Haynes Jr. on production, and Chauncey Hollis on drums. They put out their first EP in 2014 and followed it with the album 'Love, Lust, & Legacy' in 2016.
That 2016 album included 'Fake Love,' which became their most recognizable track. The song drew some attention for its melody and lyrics, though it also brought accusations of plagiarism that the group denied.
They kept releasing music after that, including a mixtape in 2018 and the single 'Real Love' among their later work. Their sound pulls from R&B, soul, and hip-hop, but they've mostly stayed on the independent side of things rather than breaking through to mainstream radio.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
