34one formed in 2013 when three childhood friends from Brazil, Bruno Berle, Rodrigo Damati, and Kauê de Almeida, started playing music together. They took their name from a graffiti tag they saw around their hometown. Early on, they played local bars and open mics, building a following with their live shows.
Their debut single "Nós Dois" came out in 2016 and found an audience online. The band's first album was self-titled, mixing pop, rock, and electronic sounds. Later records like "Fragmentos" and "Tremo" showed them exploring more introspective and experimental territory.
Bruno Berle handles lead vocals, guitar, and most of the songwriting. Rodrigo Damati plays drums, and Kauê de Almeida is on bass. Their music often deals with personal themes, and they've talked openly about experiences with anxiety and depression in interviews.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
