35mm: A Musical Exhibition was a musical ensemble active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Their most recognized work is 'The Ballad of Sara Berry,' a folk-rock song that appeared on their 1967 debut album 'Reflections of a Distant Past.'
The band's lineup included John St. John on vocals, David Phillips on guitar, Michael Evans on bass and vocals, and Richard Thompson on drums. They released three albums between 1967 and 1971, with 'Ode to a Dying Flower' in 1969 and 'The Shadowed Path' in 1971 following their debut.
Their music drew some criticism at the time for its psychedelic elements and unconventional approach. The band broke up in 1972 after several years of activity.
