3ª Ordem formed in São Paulo in 1999 with Fernando Anitelli on vocals and guitar, Rodrigo Alarcón on drums, and Alexandre Pacheco on bass. Their debut album 'Além do Fim dos Dias' came out in 2001 and included the title track, which became one of their most recognizable songs.
They released three more albums over the next decade and a half: 'Entre a Vontade e o Medo' in 2005, 'Manual de Sobrevivência' in 2009, and 'A Última Utopia' in 2015. Other songs from their catalog include 'Artigo 5º' and 'O Futuro Não Espera Por Nós'.
Anitelli remained the consistent member through lineup changes. The band worked with Brazilian musicians like Andreas Kisser from Sepultura and Paulo Miklos from Titãs at various points.
In 2007, after their second album, they faced plagiarism allegations that they denied. The situation created some public friction around the group.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
