3BakanaS is a Brazilian trio that formed in the early 2000s with members André Abujamra, Beto Lee, and Gui Amabis. They became known for a playful, somewhat absurd approach that mixed rock, pop, and folk elements with theatrical energy.
Their song "Brincar de Caracol" caught on widely in Brazil, turning into a kind of cultural staple with its catchy melody and lyrics about childhood simplicity. The track appears on their 2005 album of the same name.
The group released a few other records, including a self-titled debut in 2002 and later albums like "A Pele do Futuro" in 2008. Their style sometimes drew criticism for being too unconventional or provocative, and they faced occasional accusations of plagiarism, which they denied.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
