3ejah formed in São Paulo in 2004 with Rogério Flausino on vocals and guitar, Pedro Altério on bass, and Ivan Bisi on drums. Their sound mixed rock, reggae, and Brazilian rhythms, which some early listeners found unfocused. They kept playing live anyway.
One of their songs, "Buscando Sabedoria," became known for its lyrics about searching for wisdom. Another track, "É Só um Olhar," stirred some debate in 2007 over its subject matter, but the band didn't back down from it. They've put out several albums, including "Buscando Sabedoria" in 2003 and "Descubra o Segredo" in 2017.
